Achill Greenway
Begin your walking adventure with one of Mayo’s most breathtaking routes along the Wild Atlantic Way. After a bus transfer from HQ, enjoy coastal views, pass through the picturesque village of Mulranny, and end at Nevin’s in Tiernaur, where you can relax with a snack or a drink before the return bus.

On the 10km road walk, you will be bused from our HQ to the start of the fabulous Achill Greenway. This is a point A to point B route, and along the way, you will see the old railway station at Mulranny, which was part of the old train line that ran from Achill to Westport. At the finish, have a pint in Nevins before getting the bus back to HQ.

Nevins - Bus back to HQ The Ivy Tower
The 20km road walk starts at Achill Sound. This route is a point A to point B route. It is on the Western Greenway on a beautiful track that was once the railway line from Westport to Achill. The views are not to be missed. At the finish at Nevins, there is a chance to have a drink or snack before getting the bus back to HQ.
10km & 20km Start HQ The Ivy Tower Hotel 09.00
Starting from our HQ, both the 10km and 20km routes get to experience the wonderful rural roads around Castlebar. Also on this day, you will get a chance to walk the Turlough Greenway and see the Museum of Country Life at the start of the Greenway.

This route takes you from Turlough House back into Castlebar and the HQ.
20km Walk

Starting from our HQ, going out the Pontoon Road, ending up on the Turlough Greenway and back to Castlebar, this is a beautiful 24km walk looking down on the town of Castlebar.
Graffy More Loop
The 10km and 20km loop starts at our HQ and showcases the best of Castlebar's rural roads. Take in the beautiful wildlife, hedgerows and fauna.

On day 3, you are heading out the Newport road, turning off the main road to Graffy More, where you experience the peaceful tranquillity of Castlebar's rural roads.

This beautiful loop brings you on some of the best of Castlebar's rural road and on a clear day, you are treated to view of Clare Island in Clew Bay
Lough Lannagh - Raheenbar Loop
On the last day of the walks, you get to experience the wonderful Lough Lannagh and, once again, the best of quite rural roads in Castlebar.

Take in the fabulous views around Lough Lannagh, stop a while and get a photo of Croagh Patrick. On your way back to HQ, you will pass my Snugboro old school.

Starting with the beautiful Lough Lannagh Loop, onto Derryharriff and the wonderful Raheenbar Meara Glas farm. From there you get a chance to pass Lough Rusheen, stop here and enjoy the peace and quiet of Ireland's countryside.

- All routes are marked with arrows on the roads and also with signs at certain junctions.
- Buses are provided for walks that start away from HQ.
- Be prepared with appropriate footwear, clothing, and supplies.
